Transition Program

Starting school is a big milestone, and our Formal Transition Program is designed to make that journey smooth, exciting, and successful for both children and their families.

This program is exclusively for enrolled 2026 Montrose Primary School Prep students and helps familiarise them with the school environment through engaging, hands-on experiences. Children will participate in a variety of sessions including Physical Education, Art, Drama/Music, STEM, Auslan, and classroom-based learning, giving them a taste of what school life is all about.

Transition Session Dates:

• Session 1: Friday 10 October 2025

• Session 2: Friday 24 October 2025

• Session 3: Friday 7 November 2025

• Session 4: Friday 21 November 2025
  
  

All sessions run from 1:30pm – 2:45pm.

Sign-in takes place in the Early Learning Centre, where parents and children will meet before children move to their sessions in small groups.
