Digital Technology

Montrose Primary School has a strong tradition of innovation with Digital Technology.

The school offers extensive use of technology to enhance learning. The school is well resourced with netbooks, iPads and iMacs for classes to make regular use of technology. Students work with iPads and netbooks to complete rich literacy and numeracy tasks. Classes are taught coding and project-based tasks are designed for use of high powered multi-media tools. Music making software is utilised by our music teacher to allow students the opportunity to produce their own music CDs. Classrooms have access to an Interactive Whiteboard or Interactive TV screen for the use of engaging demonstrations, internet tools and interactive learning tasks.

Our Education Support Team make extensive use of iPads in supporting our students with special needs.
